Basilica Cistern

It is the Basilica Cistern located to the southwest of the Hagia Sophia. It was named as Basilica Cistern by the people because of the columns rising from the water. The historical cistern was built to meet the water needs of the city during the Byzantine period and was opened to visitors in 1994 after having been renovated and repaired for many years. Sultan Ahmet Mosque

Sedefkar Mehmet Agha, the master architect of the period, received the order of Sultan Ahmet I in 1609 and completed the mosque in 7.5 years. Due to its blue-colored tiles, it is also called the Blue Mosque by the Europeans. In addition to its historical beauty, there is a mosque, a madrasa, a tomb, a Turkish bath, and various areas. It is separated from other mosques for being the first mosque with six minarets. Topkapı Palace

The palace was built between 1460 and 1478 by Fatih Sultan Mehmed, the conqueror of Istanbul, and was the residence and education center of the Ottoman sultans.
